That is why I am thrilled to take part in Google’s fifth annual Black-owned Friday marketing campaign. Created in partnership with the U.S. Black Chambers, Inc., this initiative celebrates Black-owned companies and encourages everybody to go looking, store and assist Black-owned firms. I’ve witnessed firsthand the facility Black-owned companies must foster vibrant communities, and the way a lot neighborhood assist means to entrepreneurs like me.
As one method to assist Black-owned Friday, watch creators Druski, GloRilla and Jayda Cheaves discover Black-owned companies (together with mine!). Directed by award-winning filmmaker Rodney Lucas, the video showcases improbable companies and merchandise, and invitations everybody to share the companies they love.
