Baltimore’s Francis Scott Key Bridge collapsed on Tuesday morning after a big cargo ship hit one of many bridge’s assist beams.
The vessel that crashed into the bridge is the Dali, a Singapore-flagged container ship, in accordance with a list on VesselFinder.
Authorities are calling the incident, which was captured on a livestream and shared on-line, a “mass causality occasion.”
Maryland Governor Wes Moore, declared a state of emergency early on Tuesday, whereas The White Home mentioned it’s “carefully monitoring” the scenario.
