Rep. Lauren Boebert is blaming Hollywood for her choice to swap congressional districts.
“We’ve got to close down the Hollywood elites who’re attempting to purchase my present district,” Boebert informed Steve Bannon on his “Struggle Room” podcast on Saturday.
“There was near $10 million poured into this district to purchase this seat. Colorado’s third District is just not on the market,” she continued.
Boebert then named the celebrities, who she stated had been backing her rivals.
“When you have got Barbra Streisand coming in and donating to the Democrat, when you have got Ryan Reynolds coming in and donating to the Democrat, it reveals you that Hollywood is attempting to purchase their approach into Congress,” Boebert informed Bannon.
This is not the primary time Boebert has slammed Streisand and Reynolds for backing her opponents.
In November, Boebert had talked about the 2 stars whereas soliciting donations from her supporters.
“My opponent has loads of funding from Soros darkish cash and even Hollywood liberals like Barbra Streisand and Ryan Reynolds,” she wrote in a publish on X.
In line with the Federal Election Fee, each Streisand and Reynolds have donated $1,500 every to Boebert’s rival, Democratic candidate Adam Frisch.
Boebert stated on Wednesday that she was transferring from Colorado’s third Congressional District to the 4th Congressional District, a extra conservative a part of the state.
Her announcement comes after Frisch vastly outraised her. On Tuesday, Enterprise Insider reported that Frisch had raised over $7.7 million, in response to the FEC.
